Encounters are brief notes or photographs created alongside the work.

They record moments of contact, hesitation, or attention — moments that may become memories, or may not.

They are not explanations. They do not describe images. They do not tell you where something happened or define what it is.

They exist as traces of being there: incomplete, unresolved, and deliberately left open.

Encounters are written rarely, only when something insists on remaining.
